Characteristics of DuPont PET plastic raw materials in the United States:

PET is a milky white or pre yellow highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and shiny surface. Creep resistance, fatigue resistance, wear resistance, and dimensional stability are good, with low wear and high hardness. It has the greatest toughness among thermoplastic materials: good electrical insulation performance, less affected by temperature, but poor corona resistance. Non toxic, weather resistant, stable against chemicals, low water absorption, resistant to weak acids and organic solvents, but not resistant to hot water immersion or alkali.

PET resin has a high glass transition temperature, slow crystallization rate, long molding cycle, long molding cycle, high molding shrinkage rate, poor dimensional stability, brittle crystallization molding, and low heat resistance.

Application fields of DuPont PET plastic raw materials in the United States:

PET is mainly used for fibers, with a small amount used for films and engineering plastics. PET fibers are mainly used in the textile industry.
